heimatec supports the “Leben mit Behinderung” residential accommodation in Renchen with an annual donation

heimatec GmbH, based in Renchen, is continuing its commitment to local social projects and is once again donating to the “Leben mit Behinderung” residential accommodation this year. Since the residential accommodation opened in 2014, heimatec has regularly supported the valuable work carried out there for people with disabilities.

This year's donation, handed over by Managing Directors Kay and Gabriele Krieger, will be used to purchase another special healthcare wheelchair. This special wheelchair enables the disabled residents to participate comfortably in group activities, which is very important for their social integration. The healthcare wheelchair offers an optimal solution to enable residents to spend time comfortably without excluding them from the community.

“We are delighted that heimatec has established itself as a loyal supporter over the years. The company has been supporting us for many years, enabling us to make special investments for the inhabitants of the residential accommodation in Renchen, most of whom have multiple disabilities. In the past, these have included investments in the garden and the purchase of electrically assisted special bicycles,” says Wolfgang Dürr, Chairman of ‘Leben mit Behinderung Ortenau e.V.’.

heimatec is proud to make a contribution to improving the quality of life of the residents and will continue to support local social projects in the future, true to the motto “small things make a big impact”.
